The Ministry of Natural Resources has finalized the sustainable energy for all rapid gap analysis and action plan which emphasizes on doubling the share of renewable energy in the country’s energy mix by 2022.
This was announced by the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy Senator Jabulile Mashwama during the handover of US$650 000 for the installation of solar lighting system at the Nhlangano Health Centre.
Government will provide more at least US$60 million (E600 000) towards the overall financing of the LUSIP phase 2 project.
This was announced by the Hon. Prime Minister Dr Sibusiso Dlamini at the LUSIP II extension donor conference held at the Royal Swazi Sun Convention Centre.Phase 1 LUSIP is currently benefitting 20 000 individuals.
