The National TB Office..

• Coordinates all TB activities in the country
• Communicate with the ministry of health
• Works with the Regional Health management Teams, which are in accordancws with the four administrative regions
• The TB care is integrated with all the other activities of the MOHSW, in the regional hospitals and peripharal clinics

• To reduce mortality, morbidity and disease transmission
• To prevent drug resistance
• To promote DOTS strategy
• To promote collaboration with the HIV/AIDS programme in the country
