MISSION STATEMENT

The mission and purpose of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Swaziland is to initiate, consider and enact legislation and monitor its implementation in the interests and welfare of the King and the People of Swaziland.

Based upon a bicameral system of Government with the House of assembly and the Swaziland Senate, Parliament provides the supreme forum for critical examination of government activities, including the monitoring of public funds and the conduct of public business.

The Parliamentary staff is also committed to providing an efficient support service to Parliamentarians and all other stakeholders.
