MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Ministry of Finance is to promote Macroeconomic stability in Swaziland by formulating and implementing fiscal and financial policies that optimize economic growth and improve the welfare of its citizens. In response to the changing regional and global environment the Ministry will strive to:

• Provide a sound regulatory framework  for the country's financial sector
• Maintain fiscal discipline by providing government with effective financial and fiscal advice, and cost effective information technology services.
• Improve the social wellbeing of the nation at large by effectively participating in the allocation of financial resources and presenting budget to Parliament, which is in line with identified national priorities.
• Provide a sound management strategy
• Collect revenue and manage expenditure efficiently
• Create an environment which will promote private sector development
• Supervise and monitor the nation's public enterprise portfolio.
