The Honourable Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries Madze Bulunga today bid farewell to Team Eswatini who have left the country for the African Union Sports Council Region 5 games in Botswana.

The Region 5 games will be played from the 7th to the 16th of December 2018. Team Eswatini is a 80-member delegation made up of 65 athletes and led by Eswatini National Sports and Recreational Council Business Development Manager Zama Tsabedze.

"As you depart for Botswana, keep in mind the magnitude of the task bestowed upon you. These are not words to scare you but instead, we want to motivate you to give it your all at the games. The days of Eswatini partaking in competitions for the sake of adding numbers have passed and now we are aiming at achieving sporting excellence," Bulunga said.
