The Honourable Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries Bulunga today (Wednesday, 06 February 2019) attended the official crowning of the champions of the 2019 Milky-Max (Parmalat) U-13 tournament.

The event was held at Sigwaca House and in attendance, the Honourable Minister was joined by Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Vice President Comfort Shongwe, Under Secretary in the Ministry Nhlanhla Motsa and Director of Sports Lucky Sihlongonyane, amongst others.

Making his remarks, the Honourable Minister thanked Parmalat for their continued investment into local football.

“It is clear to us that Parmalat is set on spreading this noble and brilliant cause countrywide. We would like to commend Parmalat for this unwavering support and commitment to contributing to the development of football and sport in our beautiful country. Such an investment does not get the kind of coverage and popularity that comes with senior tournaments but Parmalat has remained loyal to the cause, even increasing the sponsorship package throughout the years,” the Minister said.

Dark City were crowned champions of Mbabane, Real Masters were crowned champions of Lobamba and Black Swallows were crowned champions of Pigg’s Peak. Parmalat sponsored the tournament to the tune of E30 000.
