Amazulu pay courtesy call to Hon. Minister

South African top flight side Amazulu Football Club today paid a courtesy call to the Honourable Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries Bulunga.

The meeting took place at the Ministry’s Conference Room in Mbabane where the Minister welcomed Amazulu to Eswatini and further wished them a safe and prosperous stay in the country.

During the meeting, discussions were also held on possible partnerships with Amazulu. Speaking after the meeting, the Honourable Minister thanked the KwaZulu-Natal based side for visiting the country.

“We really appreciate having Amazulu here and we hope that this is the start of a long and fruitful partnership between them and Eswatini football. We had a very positive discussion and we hope that this will soon yield fruitful returns. We wish them a successful stay in our beautiful country,” Honourable Bulunga said.

The Honourable Minister was joined in the meeting by Principal Secretary in the Ministry Prince Mlayeto, Under Secretary Nhlanhla Motsa, Director of Sports Lucky Sihlongonyane and Eswatini Football Association CEO Frederick Mngomezulu.

General Manager Lunga Sokhela led Amazulu’s delegation which also included Programs Manager Mpho Dintwa, Communications Manger Brilliant Mkhathini and Build It Programs Coordinator Philani Mabaso.
