The Veterinary Services Division which promotes animal health and welfare while creating conducive conditions for economic animal production is headed by a Deputy Director. This division is composed of Field Services, Veterinary Public Health and Veterinary Epidemiology Unit headed by Senior Veterinary Officers.
Mandate:
The Veterinary Services Division strives to prevent, control and/or eradicate animal and zoonotic diseases to promote food security, socio-economic utilization of animal resources and human health and international trade.
