Minister Lindiwe with Acting Chief Roads Engineer Vincent Dlamini

The Minister of Public Works & Transport Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini with senior officials from the ministry toured the poor road infrastructure under the Maseyisini Inkhundla. The areas Member of Parliament Mduduzi ‘Small Joe’ Dlamini accompanied the Minister during the tour. Other senior officials from the Ministry included P.S Makhosini Mndawe, Acting Chief Roads Engineer Vincent Dlamini, Mantainence Engineer Linda Magagula, just to mention a few.

The tour began at Jabulani area, whereby construction is underway on the Sicunusa-Nhlangano road. The Minister promised the residents of the area that they will be compensated as per their losses during the construction of the Sicunusa-Nhlangano road.

The Minister proceeded to Mzizi, Matimatima and Makhonza areas, where the Minister highlighted that there are many challenges as far as road mantainence is concerned and she appealed with community elders to teach the members on the importance of the punches, and that they should stop closing them because of drainage reasons.
