MINISTRY OF TINKHUNDLA ADMINISTRATION AND DEVELOPMENT RECEIVES E3MILLION FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON TAIWAN FOR COMPUTERIZATION OF TINKHUNDLA.

THE HONOURABLE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER, HON. PAUL DLAMINI AND THE MINISTER OF TINKHUNDLA ADMNISTRATION AND DEVELOPMENT HON. MDUDUZI DLAMNI RECEIVED A DONATION OF COMPUTERS, PRINTERS, LAPTPOS AND PHOTOCOPIERS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON TAIWAN.

The equipment will be distributed to all 55 Tinkhundla centres and regions. This is the Government of The Republic of China on Taiwan’s support to the Government and people of the Kingdom of Swaziland towards building ICT infrastructure essential for effective service delivery.

Speaking during the presentation, His Excellency The Ambassador Thomas Chen said the Tinkhundla centres’ computerization project “will effect changes by not only coordinating communication and development between regional and local levels under the government network system, but also ensure that the Swazi people, particularly those living in rural areas, receive government information and services in places closer to where they stay.”

Speaking on behalf of The Government of The Kingdom of Swaziland, His Excellency The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Republic of China on Taiwan’s generous support and assured them that these facilities would be well taken care of and maintained so that they serve many generations to come.

Other projects which got funding from the Republic of China on Taiwan on the same day were the commercialization of the Ntondozi Community Botanical Garden.
