The Minister of Information, Communications and Technology, Winnie Magagula, left Swaziland for the Republic of China on Taiwan last Saturday.The Government of the Republic of China has been instrumental in providing funding for the Biotechnology Park being constructed at Nokwane.The Taiwanese Government provided funding for the designs as well as Lot 1 of the project, which is infrastructure development.During his state visit to Swaziland in April 2012, President of the Republic of China on Taiwan Ying –Jeong Ma took interest in the Biotechnology Park Project and invited the Minister for further discussions on its development.The Minister’s delegation includes the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology as well asthe Project Manager Moses Zungu. The Minister and her delegation are expected back in Swaziland this coming weekend.
