United States Government donates to the Ministry of Health and Umbutfo Defense Force

The Ministry of Health together with Umbutfo Defense Force received a donation estimated worth of E3.6 million from the United States Government - Pepfar. The handover event was held at Phocweni Army Barracks.

The presentation was done by the US Ambassador to the Kingdom, Makila James, who was represented by the Chiet of Mission, Craig Cloud. 

To the Ministry of Health, two vehicles, public address system and other items were donated. Receiving the donation on behalf of the Minister of Health, who is attending the Annual World Health Assembly in Geneva, was Dr Vusi Magagula- Deputy Director of Health Services(Clinical). These huge donation will be utilised under the Male Circumcision Initiative. (22nd May 2013
