The Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology will host a workshop for Senators at the Royal Swazi Spa Convention Centre tomorrow. The purpose of the workshop is to present the Swaziland Electronic Communications Bill, 2010 and the Swaziland Communications Commission Bill, 2010 to the Senators and explain the concept of what the Bills seek to address. One of the main objectives of the Swaziland Electronic Communications Bill is to provide a framework for the further development of electronic communications networks and services in Swaziland. The Swaziland Communications Commission Bill, on the other hand, seeks to establish a Swaziland Communications Commission, which will regulate the Communications Sector. The Minister of Information, Communications and Technology will make an opening address at this function. The workshop starts at 9am at the Libandla Room.
