The Minister of Information, Communications and Technology, MP Dumisani Ndlangamandla, has said co-operation and commitment are essential to the Ministry’s success. Minister Ndlangamandla said this in a meeting held at the Conference Room to welcome the recently re-appointed Principal Secretary (PS), Sikelela Dlamini on April 7, 2014.

The Minister pleaded with Directors and Head of Sections to continue to co-operate with PS Dlamini as show a renewed commitment to their work for the Ministry to succeed in its plans for the year. “ICT is a critical Ministry that must show innovation to take the country towards Vision 2022,” he said. Minister Ndlangamandla thanked the PS for helping him to settle in office in the first five months of his own appointment and urged management to seek the PS’ guidance while providing solutions to problems they encounter.

PS Dlamini acknowledged the Minister and management’s warm welcome and noted that work should progress easily because this was not a new appointment. “I hope we will continue to work as well as we did in my previous and take this Ministry to greater heights,” he said.

PS Dlamini retired on March 3, 2014 and his re-appointment is for a term of three years.
