1. Collect application form from RTB Registry. (To be available for downloading soon).

2. Present filled form to Town/City Council or Regional Administrator as the case may require, for recommendation of the road transport service by the appropriate authority. (See Section 12 (1) and (2) for clarity).

3. Present filled form to the Police Station Commander of the area of intended operation for recommendation of the road transport service.

4. Present completed form to the Times of Swaziland for stamping of advertisement receipt confirming payment. (Currently costs E35 per application).

5. Submit filled and recommended / endorsed form to RTB Registry accompanied with receipt for E100 Application Fee.

6. Application published in the Times of Swaziland. There is a mandatory 14 day objection or support period allowed to the public.

7. Applicant invited 14 days in advance by registered mail to an RTB session to motivate application. RTB decision is made after all applicants have motivated their applications and sent later to applicant by post.

8. Successful applicants action their grants at the RTB Registry. Vehicles to be issued permits must have valid Certificate of Fitness (CoF) obtainable at the Revenue Offices after passing a roadworthiness test at the RTD Testing stations. CoF costs E30 per vehicle. Roadworthiness testing fee is E20.

9. Submit CoF at RTB Registry for processing of permit.

10.Permit is issued E50 per vehicle.

11. Permit holder then submit (in case of passenger permit) proof of passenger liability cover at the Revenue Offices prior to obtaining a T-Disc denoting vehicle as a Public Service Vehicle (PSV). T-Disc costs E50 per vehicle.
