The Minister of Public Works & Transport Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini has introduced the newly appointed Principal Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Makhosini Mndawe.

Mndzawe was introduced to the staff by the Minister, following his appointment by His Majesty King Mswati III after the transfer of the former PS, Cyril Kunene, to be Principal of the Swaziland Institute for Management Public Administration (SIMPA).  The Minister further encouraged the employees to work in unity to eradicate the perception that the ministry was corrupt. Dlamini told the staff that an open door policy was the key to success. The newly appointed PS was said not to be a stranger in the ministry, as it was revealed that he previously had an 18 years stint in the ministry and it was pleaded with the employees to respect him. “Some of you are older than him, but His Majesty saw it right to appoint him to be the PS in this ministry. Let us respect him as our PS,” said Dlamini.

If you stick to your partner, it is against God’s will to go without sex,” she said. In her speech she emphasized that single people should take an active role in the campaign. She further urged staff to give their full support to those infected by HIV/AIDS, pointing out that the whole country was affected by the virus.
