NB

Liquor licences are issued twice a year in May/June and also in November/December of each year.

Objection

This must be lodged with the applicant and licensing officer 5 days prior to the hearing date (within the 21 days of advertising)

Appeal

Any objector or applicant who is against the decision of the Licensing Officer may appeal within 14 days to the Honourable Minister for Commerce, Industry and Trade. The Minister will hear the appeal and after the hearing the Minister's decision becomes final.
