About OAG
The Office of the Auditor General is an independent institution which is mandated to perform financial and compliance audits on public accounts, performance audits on government programmes and other special audits within the legal mandate. The establishment and mandate of the OAG is embedded in Section 206 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Swaziland (2005) and the Audit Act of 2005. The AG's reports are presented to the Minister for Finance for tabling in Parliament.

We want to be an autonomous institution that addresses audit issues with proficiency and passion and thereby building public confidence and serving public interest through excellence in auditing and for the benefit of Swazi Citizens.

The OAG exists to audit and assess value for money applications on public accounts, programs, activities, and projects, report to Parliament, and to advise stakeholders to improve public sector performance and accountability through the delivery of high quality audit services and reports for the benefit of citizens.
