The Ministry of Home Affairs staff warmly welcomed newly appointed Principal Secretary Mr Nhlanhla Raymond Nxumalo who was introduced to them by the Ministry's Undersecretary Arnod Dlamini on Friday morning at the Ministry Headquarters in Mbabane.
Speaking at the welcoming ceremony Undersecretary Arnold Dlamini said “it is normal that as a public servant, Government can redeploy you anywhere hence everyone must embrace the changes made by their Majesties.
The newly appointed Principal Secretary expressed his happiness and contentment on the new position and thanked His Majesty for placing trust and confidence in his abilities more especially with such a complex Ministry where the good and the bad of the country resides. “lelitiko licuketse tinhlangotsi letimcoka telive kufaka ekhatsi lubhaliso, kwemukela bachamuki, tekuphuma nekungena kwebantfu eveni kanye nemikhosi yelive ngakoke kumcoka kutsi wonkhe mutfu asebente ngekwetsembeka”. He promised to lead by example and let his work speak volumes while still serving in the Ministry and beyond. He then requested staff members to work with integrity, humanity, be customer friendly, and work as a united team. “ngiyanicela kutsi sisebente ngelubumbano nangaphandle kwenkhohlakalo” said Nxumalo.
Furthermore, the newly appointed Principal Secretary requested all staff members to work together to ensure that the upcoming Umhlanga Ceremony is a success.
Mr Nhlanhla Nxumalo’s appointment was announced by His Excellency the Prime Minister Ambrose Mndvulo Dlamini in a press briefing held at the Prime Minister’s Office on the 03rd of August 2019. He replaces Reverend Antony Masilela who has been redeployed to the position of the Regional Secretary for Lubombo Region.
