AVAILABILITY OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS
The Ministry of Home Affairs wishes to notify the general public of the availability of all categories of Travel Documents and Passports.
- The Ministry announced on the 30th August 2019 that it has run out of stock for the 32 page Travel Documents which costs E80.00 due to high demand, while stock of 48 page Travel Document costing E300.00 was also running low.
- Today the Ministry is happy to notify the public that the situation has normalised. There is enough stock on all categories of Travel documents as follows:
- 32 page travel document at E80.00
- 48 page Travel Document at E400.00
- 64 page Travel Document at E500.00.
- The technical production challenges reported earlier are being attended to vigorously and they will soon be resolved. Thus the current prolonged turn-around time shall improve once the challenges have been rectified.
- The Ministry regrets any inconveniences caused thereof.
