The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs is one of the four largest Government Ministries housing eleven departments.  All these departments have their independence guaranteed by the Constitution and founding statutes.  The Ministry’s services are decentralized with Courts, Master of the High Court offices, Correctional Services centres spread throughout the regions for ease accessibility. 


The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs is responsible for the administration of justice through the various courts; the drafting of all new legislation and amendments to existing laws; Administration of Estates; the conduct of National and local government Elections and bye-elections of Members of Parliament of the House of Assembly, Tindvuna teTinkhundla and Bucopho in the country and the fight and prevention of corruption.
