CABINET IN OFFICE THROUGHOUT FESTIVE SEASON

Cabinet will continue being in office conducting His Majesty’s Government business without going on recess over this festive season, unlike in previous years.

This has been necessitated by the amount of outstanding work that has to be concluded before the Cabinet term of office expires. Matters to be attended to during this season, include, but not limited to;

1.Completion of outstanding Bills and Regulations before the opening of Parliament in 2013.

2.Ensuring continued service delivery to the public.

3.Preparing a Cabinet term of office Report.

Cabinet will continue meeting every Tuesday as usual and break at noon during the iNcwala season to allow members to attend their traditional responsibilities in the afternoon.

Ministers will do office work each morning in order to attend iNcwala duties in the afternoon, and attend office duties in the afternoon during the Kuhlakula period.
