His Excellency the Hon. Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini has registered for the National Elections 2013.

The Hon. Prime Minister registered at his home area KaNtunja under the Ekukhanyeni Constituency in the Manzini region.

Speaking after going through the computerized registration process which takes a few minutes, the Prime Minister encouraged all Swazis above the age of 18 years to exercise their democratic right provided in the Constitution to register and vote.

“Elections are an important necessity in any country. We are proud in Swaziland that we are able to elect our own people in our constituencies that will directly represent us in Parliament and form a Government. We should be aware that whosever we vote for will not only represent us a Member of Parliament but may end up being a Minister, Deputy Prime Minister or Prime Minister.”

The registration process ends on June 23.
