The Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Dlamini has received former President of the Republic of Malawi Dr Bakili Muluzi who paid him a courtesy call at the Cabinet Offices in Hospital Hill, Mbabane.

Dr Muluzi is in the Kingdom as a representative 0f the Commonwealth of Nations Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma. The former Malawian president was the leader of the Commonwealth observer mission for the 2013 National Elections.

The Hon. Prime Minister said the Kingdom was pleased to welcome Dr Muluzi as the country is currently reviewing the 2013 National Elections process in preparation for the 2018 election.

Dr Muluzi announced that he will constantly visit the country to ensure the Commonwealth offers assistance where necessary to the processes of elections in Swaziland. He noted that an area of focus will include encouraging women participation in all the processes of elections
