His Majesty King Mswati III has extended the tenure of office for the Secretary to Cabinet and head of public service Mbuso Dlamini. Dlamini had retired in early October after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60.
The Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini announced the extension at the Cabinet Offices in Mbabane.
He congratulated the Secretary to Cabinet for earning the trust of His Majesty, saying he was already an experienced civil servant who had worked diligently in various Government Ministries.
Dr Dlamini noted that the civil service is like the oil that keeps Government running and needs to be kept efficient for effective service delivery to the public. He reminded Principal Secretaries of their role in ensuring that Government meets its performance targets and achieves the 2022 Vision.
