The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended operational hours at some of the country’s borders.

The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs Anthony Masilela mentioned that this arrangement has been made for the period of festive season.“We anticipate high numbers of people to

travel in between the country’s borders and these extensions shall be effected from the period of 19^th- 24^th December 2014,” he said.

The Principal Secretary added that borders not reflected on the schedule of extension of operational hours will not be affected by the above.

 

The borders to be affected are the following:
