The Hon. Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini has assured SADC that the Kingdom of Swaziland will be ready to host the SADC summit of Heads of State and Government next year where His Majesty King Mswati III will assume chairmanship. The Prime Minister was speaking when he met SADC executive secretary Dr Stergomena Lawrence Tax at the cabinet offices in Mbabane on Monday. Dr Tax is in the country to start preparing for the summit. The Prime Minister says the country hopes the SADC region will benefit from the leadership of His Majesty the King when the time comes. He believes preparations will go on seamlessly with the assistance of the SADC secretariat. Dr Tax paid tribute to the King for agreeing to take chairmanship next year and mentioned that beginning this year there will be a number of SADC activities that will be hosted by the Kingdom.
