The King as usual is expected to deliver a moving key note address to trade fair participants as well as the entire nation.
This year’s SITF is expected to be bigger and better as many foreign businesses have confirmed participation through the Swaziland Investment Promotion Authority (SIPA).
Several Government Ministries and Departments have also confirmed participation in this year’s event which was launched by the Minister for Commerce, Industry and Trade Jabulile Mashwama on the 13th July 2011.
The theme for SITF 2011 is “Focusing on Productivity to Contribute to Economic Recovery”. During the official launching, Minister Mashwama explained that the theme is in line with Government’s drive to achieve self-sufficiency and maximize the utilization of diverse market opportunities available for the country in the regional and international markets, thereby contributing to economic recovery.
As usual the Trade Fair will be spiced with entertainment including music shows and children’s games on specified days.
