The Hon. Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini says the country is determined to get to zero new HIV infections, zero deaths from AIDS-related illnesses and zero discrimination. He says while strides have been made in the fight against HIV, there is no room for complacency.

The Prime Minister’s speech was read on his behalf by the Hon. Deputy Prime Minister Senator Paul Dlamini at the World AIDS day commemoration held in Siteki.

The Hon. Prime Minister Dr Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini has challenged young people in the Kingdom to think and to do business from an early age.  He says they need to grow up wanting to succeed in business as in other segments of the economy.

The Prime Minister was speaking at the Junior Achievement fund raising event held at Sibane Lodge. His speech was read by the Hon. Deputy Prime Minister Senator Paul Dlamini.

The Hon. Prime Minister Dr Sibusiso Dlamini has hailed the formation of the Innovators Association of Swaziland saying the Kingdom aims to be a home of innovation to enhance national development.

He noted that a 2011 study found that only four nations in Africa had created country solutions through innovation. “We want to add Swaziland to that number,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s speech was read on his behalf by the Hon. Minister of Economic Planning and Development Prince Hlangusemphi at the Inaugural Swaziland Innovation Conference held at Esibayeni Lodge.

His Majesty King Mswati III has appointed Bheki Bhembe and Makhosini Mndawe as Principal Secretaries.Bheki Bhembe is the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Finance while Makhosini Mndawe is Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
