More than 5000 residents of the Ntondozi community are benefitting from the newly opened potable water supply and sanitation scheme.

The water scheme was officially opened by the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy Jabulile Mashwama who articulated that Government’s priority is to ensure all Swazis have access to clean water by year 2022.

The Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini says Swaziland fully supports the African Union’s Roadmap for Development through agenda 2063 which is critical for the attainment of the Millenium Development Goals (MDG’s).

His Majesty King Mswati III has commended the Swaziland Water Services Corporation for attaining the world acclaimed ISO quality standard certification.

He has encouraged the Corporation to continue engaging in projects that will bring clean water to all Swazis, especially the E200 million project that will bring clean water to 100 000 in the Shiselweni region by March 2015.

His Majesty King Mswati III has implored Government to embark on a vigorous programme of increasing the length of upgraded roads around the country to improve access for Swazi people.

His Majesty King Mswati III has appointed Prince Mlayeto Dlamini as the new Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs. The King further appointed Mr. Pat Muir as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Training on a three year contract.
